I Don't Know How You Do It

We hear that, in some form, from people all the time. From the outside, things must look better than they do on the inside. We always feel like it's a struggle to get everything completed each day. Feeding the kids, washing clothes and dishes, keeping the house in some order, taking care of ourselves, running errands...the list goes on and on. Somehow we manage. It's a mystery to us. And we must make it look easy. Trust us, it's an illusion.

I just happened upon your blog - I am a mother of 26 month old triplets. If I had a nickel for everytime I've heard "I don't know how you do it" I'd be rich. It is as much a blessing as it is a challenge to have three babies at once.

Your babies are beautiful (and BIG! Two of mine were just 23lbs. on their 2nd birthday). Congratulations. They are more and more fun the older they get - but when they start walking - look out!!! :) Take care.

When I get that comment, I usually say, "I don't know either" or "I just take it one day at a time!"
