Father Friday - Christmas Time Is Coming
Everybody keeps asking us questions like this - "Are you ready for Christmas?", "Are you excited about seeing the kids open their presents?". I'm not sure how to answer those questions. Sure, we're excited about Christmas, but in a different way. We haven't had time to focus on buying gifts this year. It's nice to not be caught up in the commercialism of Christmas. This year, because we've been so busy with the kids and family, we're more focused on what's really important - the birth of Jesus, new kids that are a gift everyday to us, family and friends. Are we excited about Christmas? Yes, we are and for what we think are the right reasons.

When we had our daughter, Christmas took on a new meaning to us too. The right meaning, Christ. Since then, we, as a family, make gifts each year. Once year we baked Apple Cinnamon bread and make applesauce/cinnamon ornaments. This year, cookie cutter ornaments (hand painted) and cookie cutter cookies.
