Patience Deficit
With triplets, it takes all the patience you can muster. It seems that I use all I have with them, which means I have little to none for others. It's really sad, but that's the way it is. There doesn't seem to be any at all when it comes to idle chit-chat. I guess this also comes from the streamlining of life that is a necessity with multiples.

I know exactly what you mean! I was not very sociable for the first 6 months after my twins were born. I caught myself even snapping at my husband when he would do the silly things that used to make me laugh. I kept thinking: I don't have time for all that funny business. Get back to reality!
I've been very careful since then, though, to make sure I make time for the silly small talk. It's oddly important.
I love your blog, by the way. I don't comment often, but I read it at least once a week.
